Entry into Force of The African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance

The entry into force of the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance provides an immense opportunity for OSIWA’s work in the region. OSIWA has been advocating for the ratification of the charter at various member states level. The coming into force of the charter on February 15 is a welcome development that will now allow OSIWA to focus its attention on the implementation at member states level where the foundation has presence.

USAID Supports YBF for Local Governance Project in Western Region

Youth Bridge Foundation has received USAID's Grant to implement a Local Governance initiative in two (2) Municipalities and one (1) District of the Western Region of Ghana under USAID’s Local Governance and Decentralization Program (LOGODEP). The Foundation is among the first batch of fourteen (14) small grants recipients drawn from Ghanaian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

GIZ Supports Youth and National Budget Workshop in Tamale

The Youth Bridge Foundation is engaging a network of youth groups in Northern Ghana for a two (2) day workshop on “Youth and national Budget”. This workshop comes in response to a survey which revealed a rather poor understanding of the budget by the youth.  A copy of the publication on the survey is available on line at www.youthbridgefoundation.net
